Great for camping or emergencies and power outages. This compact unit is only about 3.3" diameter x 1.9" H when collapsed. It recharges from the sun during the day and provides light for several hours or more. When you wish to use it just pull it a part and it expands to about 5". Has handy swing out handle to hang on a branch, hook, tent, etc. It has bright, dim and SOS modes, and charging indicator that goes from red to green when fully charged. Has a charge cable included to charge from any USB charger/computer if you wish instead of the built in solar panel. Finally, the company advertises that it has a phone charging outlet, but we found that output is too low to charge smartphones so it is really meant to be a very unique and useful compact solar powered lantern.
