Giant toroid transformer by Trans-tronic Type 7339X is rated primary 230VAC, secondary 30V @ 6Amps 50/60Hz (180Watts). Toroid transformers are more compact and lightweight than laminated and have improved efficiency. In addition a torid transformer is used in high end audio due to much quieter operation.
