They have a relaxing effect. A negative ion is an oxygen atom charged with an extra electron. This item is brand new, custom made and easy to use. Just connect (+) of 12VDC to red, (-) to black and white lead has a carbon brush that emits negative ions. Size of unit 0.78" wide x 0.56" tall x 1.30" long (excluding mounting ears) Brand new!
