G26832 - Vintage Dialight Red Lens Watertight Pilot Indicator Lamp - 11/16" Mounting Hole

While retrieving an item on the top shelf in our warehouse, we came across this vintage metal Dialight Red Lens Pilot Indicator Lamp. These are high quality and may be even military spec. They are designed for a 11/16" hole and state they are watertight. They appear to be New Old Stock. I did some research online and found a data sheet (attached PDF - see figure 7). These would be great to use in a Steampunk project or if you are savvy enough to make them blink or fade with a Geiger Counter as the light resembles a Radioactive Symbol. There is a dial on the indicator to 'dim' the brightness which is actually a metal shutter and while fully closed leaves a small hole to see the red indicator. We installed a lamp and tested each one with a 12V bulb (In the video had the voltage as high as 28V but 12V is recommended). Browse around for more unusual items at The Electronic Goldmine.
