Vintage Mallory G-1501 12-volt, 4-prong electromechanical interrupter vibrator in original box. Manufactured by Mallory in the USA (stamped Melvin Inst). These mechanical DC choppers were standard equipment in 1950s and 1960s 12V automotive tube radios, communications receivers, and mobile transmitters (such as Regency, Gonset Communicator, and classic car radios) to convert 12V DC into high-voltage B+ plate power.
