Our C7412 Water Leak Detection/Alarm Kit is a simple to solder kit that produces a loud alarm when water is detected on the probes.
After you solder the kit simply place under a kitchen or bathroom sink, basement or any other area you want to be notified of a water leak. The kit uses a mire 5 microamps (not milliamps) which gives the 9V battery (not included) a long monitoring life of many, many months. Once the kit detects water it will continue to signal it's alarm until you reset it by removing the battery.
