Industrial Electronic Hardware (I.E.H.) Model 750-5b Dosimeter Charger supplies the voltage required to charge or "Zero" quartz fiber dosimeters. It operates on a standard "D" battery (not included). The charger comes with the original manual. The charger is used and will have cosmetic blemishes and old labels on it. These are sold "as is". Note: In the past, we sold the pens individually and for those who want to use their pen (CD V-72) with the charger this is a good opportunity to purchase the Charger and Manual only. A little more information about the pen, The pen CD V-742 (not included) can measure 0-200 roentgen. It is 4-1/2" long 1/2" diameter and has a window at end. When you look thru the window you will see a line that would move across a scale. By charging the pen before exposure to radiation (from the charger) you could set the line to 0 (zero). Now if exposure occurred you could tell the level of radiation the pen was exposed to by looking at where the line had moved.
