This 5980 geiger mueller tube is from a different manufacturer and is a slightly different style. It is glass and metal construction. This tube is 4" long x 0.36" in diameter. The end cap is the anode (+) and the metal band around the center is the cathode (-). Made in the USA for the Navy. Operates on 700-800VDC. Gas filled with Ne+Halogen. This tube makes a great sensor and would be great for use These may have scratches or smudged labels, however they are all tested for proper operation before being shipped.
